Club Team Competitions 2010

Our self awarded status of ‘Premier Club in the County’ comes with the responsibility to maintain that position with successful individual and team performances.

2010 did not disappoint:

Captains Day 28th March 2010

Our Captains Day winner this season was a very welcome surprise. Allan Skellett breaks away from his university studies only rarely to shoot with WPRC. His small bore shooting in Southampton is seemingly keeping him honed to produce winning performances at full bore also. It was very rewarding to see him take the silver with Alistair in 3rd place from a field of 11 Hertfordshire club shooters.

Herts Clubs Challenge Shield 28th March 2010

Despite a lack lustre performance in notably difficult windy conditions, WPRC managed a win, beating OB’s and Old Habs into second and third place respectively.

Astor County Heat 9th May 2010

It’s always a good feeling to retain a trophy and our total score in the County Heat was nearly the best we had ever recorded. A 607.61 saw us well clear of OB’s with 603.61 and Radlett, Watford and Old Habs bringing up the rear. With this result, we were delighted to accept the honour of representing the County in the main event at the Imperial Meeting in July, for the second year running and for the fourth time in the clubs history.
