County Astor Cup Heat – May 11th 2014

Following a rewarding victory in the 2013 event, we fielded a 2014 team weakened by holiday commitments and illness. It was very reassuring however to be able to select new team members further underlining our strength in depth at WPRC.

John Cade and Phil Taylor both shot well above their respective averages and it was established team members who struggled to hold form.

Despite some excellent shooting at 600 yards we recorded a lower than expected score of 592, just four points behind Radlett who we had beaten last year.
